February 09

  • Mood: Tired
  • Listening to: Embrace - PNAU (Fred Falke & Miami Horror Remi
  • Reading: Frankenstein; soon to be Catch 22
So it's become apparent that i rarely use dA anymore, but a new digital camera for Christmas sparked my interest in photography.

Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ-15 :)

It's fantastic. 10x optical zoom with 9mp. Fantastic image quality. I love it.

I'm thinking of converting to RedBubble too.

I suppose i'm just looking for a change? My home page says that i've been a member of dA for 5 years now and i was shocked. I had no idea it had been that long. Being in year 12 now means that i would've joined at the start of year 7. Wow.

It's a shame that i rarely have time for this site anymore though. I'd still like to keep my hand in with photography. Perhaps Chris, aka [link] can help me

All the best,

Emily

Germany

  • Listening to: Wonderwall (Cover) - Ryan Adams
  • Watching: Malcolm in the Middle re-runs
I recently got back from spending two weeks in Germany on a school trip, and let me tell you, it was amazing!

It was all such a great experience adapting to a new culture for a fortnight and the homestays were excellent. There's just something really cool about getting to know someone your own age that speaks a different language and lives on the other side of the world.

Deutschland hat Spaß gemacht! :D

It really helped me get my eye back in for photography too!

.. which is kinda good since i'm choosing it next year for year 11.

Anyhoo, i'm off

Ciao

  • Listening to: My Sweet Lord - George Harrison
I've currently become a Myspace addict.

I decided to jump on the bandwagon a few months ago and since then, haven't jumped off.

After looking through people's Favourite's galleries, i have decided that i will get back into photography, whatever it takes. I have been truly inspired by what i've seen, and intend to act on this feeling.

All the best,

6 weird things about me...

Wed Apr 12, 2006, 5:01 AM
To kickstart: 6 weird and wonderful things about me...

1. I often sleep in until past 11am... Most people dont like to as you "miss the best part of the day", but i personally like to catch up on much needed sleep :)

2. Although i am a big fan of punk music, a part of me still loves to listen to classics by KC & The Sunshine Band... Like Baby Give it Up, and Shake Your Booty & Get Down Tonight

3. I have recently become a MySpace addict, as im sure a lot of other people are...

4. I have a terrible fear of moths, its stupid and i dont know why, but they're eratic movements creep me out!

5. Im a Star Wars nerd... Ive seen all of the flicks multiple times, and can tell you certain things about each movie, and im the same with The Simpsons... :| Wow this is really proving that i dont do anything with my life...

6. I really dislike talking to people i dont know very well face to face.. With people my age im fine, but not with adults...

Id like to thank for letting me express JUST how very weird i am!

Id really like to get out and take photos, but i feel like i have writer's block, but with photography:confused:
